This morning I go to continue to work on it and all those words that I typed? GONE.
And of course it is due TODAY.
The form is still there, mocking me. It is in this stupid, complicated excel file that nobody likes. It just somehow ate my words. Even though I saved the damn thing at least 20 times while writing it. Why?
So now I am procrastinating on the stinkin' re-write by writing this blog post.
Oh self assessments, how I hate you so.

Huh. Were you working off a form that you downloaded from your email? It might have saved in your temp file, unless you made sure to save it where you wanted it..
But whatever. That SUCKS!!
I know this is 100 hours too late, but you can use spotlight to see if it was saved anywhere else like the temp directory radishly suggested. Clicking File...Open Recent> might help. Also, if you set the Finder to view hidden files, you might find a backup copy still sitting there.... but by now you'll have already submitted your bragg.. I mean, very important form.
Nevertheless, a learning experience for the future.
Donny, I totally did all that. Ran a search and looked at recent open files. Although I wonder if the search looked in my temporary files. Whatever. It is done and gone. Blah.
